Grid Life · Make It Count
Last updated: March 2, 2026
The short version
Grid Life does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Data storage
All data you create in Grid Life — your day entries, milestones, notes, effort ratings, and visual preferences — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults and App Groups).
If you use the home screen widget, your settings are shared with the widget through a local App Group container (group.ee.lsdigital.app.gridlife). This data never leaves your device.
iCloud sync
Grid Life offers optional iCloud sync using Apple’s key-value storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore). When enabled, your settings and day entries are synced across your devices through your personal iCloud account.
- iCloud sync is on by default but can be disabled at any time in the app settings
- Synced data is handled entirely by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure
- We have no access to your iCloud data
- Apple’s own privacy policy governs how iCloud data is handled: apple.com/legal/privacy
Data we collect
We may collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g. which features are used most and how often the app is opened) to help improve Grid Life. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you.
We do not collect:
- Advertising identifiers
- Device identifiers
- Personal information (name, email, location)
Third-party services
Grid Life does not integrate with any ad networks or external APIs. We may use privacy-focused third-party services for analytics and purchase management. Any such services are used solely to improve the app and process transactions — never to sell or share your data.
Purchases
Grid Life may offer optional paid features. All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information — Apple handles all transaction details. Purchase-related information may be managed by a third-party service solely to verify and restore your purchases.
Children’s privacy
Grid Life does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
